Deep Listening Day in Amsterdam

The Deep Listening community in the Netherlands is excited to announce the first edition of Deep Listening Day in Amsterdam, taking place in the unique setting of the Orgelpark. Located next to the Vondelpark, the Orgelpark is a remarkable concert space dedicated to organ music, housing a collection of eight exceptional instruments. At the heart of this edition is the exploration of the connection between our inner soundscape of breath, the surrounding environment, and the living, breathing presence of the organs. The day features a Deep Listening workshop led by Sharon Stewart, a sound installation and performance for four musicians interacting with the external soundscape (The Infinite Garden), and concludes with a final concert including The Memory of Now by IONE and Arctic Air by Pauline Oliveros.
