Introduction to Deep Listening
The Center for Deep Listening is excited to begin offering two-week, online introductory Deep Listening courses!
Deep Listening® is a practice developed by pioneering composer Pauline Oliveros to enhance and expand listening abilities and to encourage creative work. In three sessions, over a two-week period, this course offers an experiential introduction to Deep Listening through collaborative and individual explorations in Sound, Dreaming, and Movement. Each session is 2.5 hours in length, and runs over 3 consecutive Saturdays, via Zoom. Tuition is $225 USD.
If you are looking for an experiential introduction to the practice of Deep Listening, this is the course for you!
For a more prolonged immersion in Deep Listening philosophy and practice, or to pursue eventual teaching certification, you may want to consider a 3-month Deep Listening Intensive.
