Chad Eby creates work—by turns stark and whimsical—that explores humanity’s fraught relationship with made objects and technological processes. A Lexington Kentucky-based artist, designer and educator working with light, sound & code to engage with the grain of digital technologies. Part of the faculty of University of Kentucky’s School of Art and Visual Studies since 2019, Chad’s work has been shown at the Tekniska Museet in Stockholm, Generative Art XXII in Rome, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Columbia College Center for Book and Paper and various local venues across the U.S.
