Called ‘an American original’, Edie Meidav is the author of the lyric novel ANOTHER LOVE DISCOURSE (MIT Press/Terra Nova/2022), and other award-winning works including LOLA, CALIFORNIA (FSG), CRAWL SPACE (FSG), and is the librettist for the mythological opera on sisterhood and climate change, TIDES OF THE WOLF (with Ghost Ensemble). A piano improviser, she is a professor in the MFA for Poets and Writers at UMass Amherst.
